Reading 1

The first chapter that we read for class gives an indepth look at the creation of the internet as we know it today. The history of the internet traces way back to the dropping of the first atomic bomb by the United States onto Japan. The fear of retalliation led to an increased need for new, undestructable technology systems. The government had many teams working toward a common goal of setting up a means of communication that would be able to function in the event of nuclear attack.
